The purpose of the Contest rules is to ensure that every trader will have the same opportunity for success as the other traders. PFG reserves the right to amend, waive or interpret any rule in its sole discretion when doing so would be in the best interests of the contest. No individual may be among the top three winners of the Simulated Trading Contest more than once in any given year. Simulated Trading Contest winners who win the 3 cash prizes for each contest will have those funds deposited in a live trading account. Those individuals have the right to use the money towards margin on their live account or withdraw the money. All prize money must remain in a live account for 6 months. After 6 months, the individual may remove the deposit. Any prize accounts left inactive for 12 months will be retired at the discretion of PFG. Tampering with the Forex Platform to increase your Simulated Trading Account's profits is prohibited and will result in disqualification from the competition. PFG has sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant found in violation of the rules of the contest or applying appropriate trading strategies. All accounts for the Simulated Trading Contest are automatically cleared of all trading activity on July 31, at which point your trading records will be deleted. Please print out your account status report on the last trading day if you would like to keep a record of your trading activity. With your Simulated Trading account you will be able to trade the following Currency Pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, USD/CAD, AUD/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY, GBP/CHF, NZD/USD, USD/MXN. In order to receive prize money all traders must be willing to let their trading record be published and/or distributed by PFG during and after the life of the contest. PFG shall not be responsible for any delays in the acceptance or transmission of orders due to a breakdown or failure of transmission or communication facilities, or for any other cause beyond their reasonable control or anticipation. Trading hours are Sunday 5:30 p.m. through Friday 2:00 p.m. (C.S.T.). |
